Sooo, this weekend little old me was once again in the duty free area of an airport! Woohay, of course we had to stock up on the necessary MAC foundation and pressed powder but we also really needed a new mascara (my Clinuque mascara was alright but emptying out and I hadn’t been too happy with it anyway – I do love Clinique though – especially my new Clinique Super Rescue!).
Since I modelled the Yves Saint Laurent advertisement 3 years ago I have had a soft spot for Yves Saint Laurent Beauté I must admit. I also absolutely love the gold and am already a heavy and faithful user of both the YSL Touche Eclat (#2 – such a must have also at Cheapsmells for 34% off) as well as the Yves Saint Laurent Quadrilumiere eyeshadow (so lovely!), so of course when I saw the YSL mascara I was just “magically” drawn towards and had to check it out! I had to get myself the Yves Saint Laurent Everlong Mascara (lovely dutyfree duo pack of course)! As a sucker for the gold, my temptations for gold are fully satisfied herewith but also as a sceptic of rubber mascara brushes I have now been converted! This mascara is truly divine, no clumpy bullshit, it truly elongates the lashes and is fine and thin so no chunky clumpy stuff anywhere and you don’t waste any mascara either (its a fine and perfect layer each time unlike the one I had before).
